Will you tell us to rewrite everything?

Not by default. The work starts with an audit of the system you have. A phased modernization keeps the system running while it changes, and that is usually the lower-risk path.

Who maintains it afterwards?

The team that audits the code is the team that maintains it. Thrive keeps consistent personnel across phases rather than rotating people between engagements.

Do we keep the code and the accounts?

Yes. Code, infrastructure, accounts and documentation all transfer to you, and the work is deployed in your own infrastructure rather than Thrive’s.

What if the last team left no documentation?

That is a normal starting point. The audit phase produces the technical picture first, which is also what makes the later phases estimable rather than open-ended.
